As another physician in the area, I was extremely thankful that Dr. Maier was willing to see me, and on such short notice (at the request of my other specialist). He is widely considered to be a top-notch Rheumatologist, and has previously been my go-to contact for phone consults in my practice. In person, he was just as thorough and thoughtful and professional. I was also hugely impressed by the quality and the work ethic of his office staff. In short, my first visit as a patient was wholly and extremely positive!

"What an awesome Doctor...Dr. Maier had never met me...and actually took the time to listen to what I had to say...I was misdiagnosed 16 years ago....from the Mayo...today he let me know that I was NOT going to die...that my test were false positives...imagine living 16 years thinking you have an autoimmune illness...I have tried for so long to get a doctor to listen to me...and see me. Thank you sir. Thank you so much. It's a new day for me. He said...and I quote "you will live to be a nice little old lady".... That might not mean much to you....but to me?....that was the world. I rate him as high as I can. So grateful that he was/is my Doctor.
